How Frequent Cervical Cancer Screenings Benefit Women’s Health

Women’s Health Week shines light on a very important question: Have you gotten screened for cervical cancer? If the answer is no and you are over the age of 21, schedule your appointment today!

The best thing you can do to help prevent cervical cancer is to have regular screening tests. They should begin at the age of 21 and can help prevent cancer, or find it early. The Pap test, or Pap smear, is the most common route women go. This should occur frequently, about every three years.

For more information on the Pap smear, review this video! Or visit cdc.gov.
