You come from a long and sacred legacy of warrior societies, from generations who have protected our people, our lands, and our traditions since time immemorial. Your decision to serve in the United States Armed Forces continues that proud heritage of courage and self-sacrifice.
We recognize that Native Americans and Alaska Natives have served in every major U.S. conflict and continue to serve.
Your service, your strength, and your sacrifices—and those of your families—are seen, honored, and deeply appreciated.
