EVERY CHILD MATTERS Awareness Walk & Gathering

September 30 @ 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Orange Shirt Day, also called the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation or the National Day of Remembrance, honors the experiences and impacts of Indigenous boarding and residential school survivors. This day also acknowledges the Indigenous children who did not make it home and the generational trauma experienced by their families and communities. It serves as a call to action for truth and reconciliation, encouraging ongoing efforts to address past injustices and support healing and understanding.
