On February 22, 2020 the Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake hosted the first annual Two Spirit Pow wow, an event celebrating our Indigenous Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ community power and sacredness of their people. First Annual Two Spirit Pow wow

The Urban Indian Center of Salt Lake and the Utah Pride Center have partnered to bring Salt Lake City a unique experience that is the first of it’s kind– the First Annual Two Spirit Pow Wow!

This event is absolutely FREE to the public! All are welcome to this family-friendly event.

We are very excited to join other pow wows in the movement towards inclusivity and the honoring of our Two Spirit and LGBTQIA+ relatives. This event is a community social pow wow that will feature pow wow dancers and drums, community presentations and resources, a cake walk, and more!
